Around Brisbane

Brisbane is an excellent city to base yourself if you wish to explore South East Queensland. The Gold Coast can be reached in less than an hour by car. If you venture north you can reach the Sunshine Coast in a similar time. At the north end of the Sunshine Coast is Noosa. Another excellent trip from Brisbane is to Stradbroke Island. Bribie Island is about 50 minutes drive north of Brisbane and has good beaches.
