West End Markets

The Green Flea Markets also know as West End Community Markets. The original style ‘flea’ market situated in the delightfully cosmopolitan Davies Park in West End, just over the Victoria Bridge from Brisbane CBD. Incredibly relaxed atmosphere, probably due to the locals of West End who are an eclectic mix of urban hippies, artisans, writers, poets, small plot farmers and designers.

The many stalls are well spaced out and divided mostly by one long trail, so it’s easy to navigate and is around 2km long. The offer cheap and fresh produce, organic foods, gourmet stalls, herbs, plants, flowers, vintage, retro, pre-loved and designer discount clothing, bric-a-brac and many other interesting and collectable items.

Children and dogs are more than welcome! Have a beautiful breakfast with many national dishes on show such as French, Hungarian, Indian, Australian, and Greek, all with great coffee. It’s a real gourmet delight with Indian curry puffs, French crepes, Chinese, Australian, German choices and more. There are many to choose from it just depends what you fancy, so have a wander around and then make your choice.

Brilliant musicians and street performers keep everyone entertained and the kids have face painting, clowns and many activities to keep them occupied on your journey around the market trail.
The Green Flea is a brilliant market for picking up presents for yourself or your loved ones and friends, there simply is so much choice and it really is reminiscent of those brilliant old flea markets that were around years ago.
